Macworld 2008: iPhone Firmware 1.1.3 Gets Official
We’ve already seen couple of videos, introducing some of the elements that firmware 1.1.3 features. Now it gets official and here are some further details:
- Maps: application is able to pinpoint your location, thanks to the triangulation technology that uses WiFi access points to locate your exact location.
- SMS can be send to multiple people, at once.
- Bookmark add-on for web sites, displayed as an icon on your home screen.
- Re-arrangement of home screen icons.
- Creating up to 9 home screens, with the ability to flip between them.
- Video chaptering.
- iTunes music lyrics display.
- iTunes movie rentals available.
