RIM has just released a wireless stereo transmitter, for music home streaming, from your BlackBerry device. To do so, connect your phone, via Bluetooth, to the base and connect your speakers into the 3.5mm jack, to start streaming stereo music with the A2DP configuration. The unit is available for $80 and it seems the remote gateway can stream music to other Bluetooth devices like headphones or mini-stereo systems with Bluetooth support. I wonder if RIM is trying to get a foothold in the multimedia and home entertainment categories, lets wait and see.
