GTC, a Chinese corporation, has just unveiled a new PMP with a 3.5-inch LCD TFT display (320 × 240). The G850 features 2GB or 4GB storage size, AV output, miniSD slot and USB 2.0 plug. The device supports RMVB, AVI, MPEG, MPG and DAT video, MP3, WMA audio, JPEG and TXT. Price stands on 120$ for the 2GB model, so i guess your money won’t fly away this time.

Sony reveals a new colorful mp3 players lineup, with stylish replaceable shells. The NW-E-Series features 3 USB stick models with different storage sizes: 1GB -> NW-E023F,
2GB -> NW-E025F, and 4GB -> NW-E026F. The USB Walkmans have a small OLED display, FM Tuner, USB 2.0 plug and tons of customizable jackets, to fit your daily clothes. All players support ATRAC, MP3, WMA and AAC audio formats, dimension stands on 83.7 × 22.3 × 16.2mm, 28gm and the price will go between $100 - $150, respectively. Available for young Japanese girls from March 8th.

TG presents the Favicon, a new PMP-navigation device with dual DMB - PIP functionality (thats two TV channels at once) and a 532MHz Freescale CPU. This 7″ WVGA player houses TPEG GPS navigation system (providing traffic info), 4GB storage size, SD card slot, multimedia player and a Windows Vista OS (!). Release date is unknown but you will be able to find it only in Korea for 420$ .

Asus intros a new HDTV box, providing a TV tuner and some nifty inputs like s-video, component, and HDMI for your computer’s monitor. The Asus box is capable of upscaling any signal source up to 1080p, for maximum picture quality. It is also equipped with DVI or VGA outputs and sports PIP functionality. The device supports both NTSC and Pal tuner so you can use it around the globe. Price and availability details are missing.

Hp joins the UMPC party, introducing the new Compaq 2133, an Eee PC-like model with 8.9-inch 1366 x 766 (WXGA) screen display, running Vista or Linux at your choice. The ultra mini features large QWERTY keyboard, ExpressCard/54 slot, built-in webcam, WiFi, and optional SSD drive. No price or availability details, but we expect to see this handsome around summer time. I hope HP will be kind enough to send me one.
Update: Commercial Times says it will be available around April for 630$, that’s double the Eee-PC price.
