Sungjut TangoX Nano UMPC Features a Wireless Phone And a Touchscreen

Sungjut TangoX wants to play in the popular UMPC game, introducing a model to compete with the famous Asus Eee PC. The new nano UMPC comes with a 7-inch touchscreen - 800×480 and an internal wireless Skype/VOIP phone. It is packed with tons of cool features and houses aplenty of room for storage. Although there is no word on pricing or availability, the nano UMPC seems to offer a great alternative to the Eee. Check out the specs:

  • CPU: 1.2GHz VIA CPU C7-M ULV.
  • Display: 7″ WVGA touchscreen (800×480).
  • Memory: 1GB DDR2.
  • Storage Size: 40GB or 80GB.
  • Features: Built-in WiFi, a 4 in 1 Card reader, Ethernet Port, USB 2.0(x2), DVI output, integrated Skype/VOIP phone.

Marbella 8800 Combines Navigation System With PMP Functions

The new Marbella 8800 features a navigation system, combined with a media player unit, in one box. The PMP-navigation device sports a SiRF Star III GPS chip, a built-in 2MP camera, a 4-inch WVGA 65K colors screen (480 x 272), AV-in interface, FM tuner, SD/MMC slot, 32/64MB SDRAM, MP4 movie player, MP3 music player, JPEG reader and an optional DVB-T box, enabling digital TV in the Marbella. Available in Taiwan for an unknown price, the new Marbella 8800 indicates a positive drift, combining nav-pmp abilities in one place, but the lack of storage makes it hard for multimedia functions.

Princeton Introduces The XiaoClef2 - A New USB Drive With Fingerprints Reader

Japanese company, Princeton, unveils a new flash memory stick with a fingerprint reader, to secure your data and prevent easy access to protected files. The new XiaoClef2 comes with 512MB, 1GB, 2GB and 4GB storage size, it is compatible with Windows Vista and sports USB2.0 connection. The security relies on MANYUSHA matching system, providing high-performance semiconductor sensors for a full and accurate fingerprint image certification. Price and availability are missing.

Fujitsu Introduces a 2.5″ Laptop Drive With 500GB Storage Size

Storage capacity is the name of the game in the extensive world of multimedia and global data. When movies, songs and tons of pictures are choking our laptops’ drive, we want more. To comply with our growing needs, Fujitsu has created the MHZ2 BT, a new hard drive with half terabyte storage size, that’s 500GB in a 2.5-inch HDD and a 12.5mm height. Mind you, it is not the ordinary size and I’m not sure it will fit your notebook, but it is a positive mark for us. Price details are not available but you should be able to buy one around May.

Microsoft Zune - Game Demonstration

As mentioned earlier, this is just the beginning and we should look up patiently, for more titles to come around summer time.

MacBook Air Gets Laser Engraving

Yes, you hear it right, the Mac Air can be laser etched with your own personal design. Not sure how many would like to revamp their expensive lappy, but you should know it is possible, as demonstrated by laser master, Phil Torrone, with 1/4 “jacks” underneath the front of the Macbook air to make it level. Looks neat.

Fifth generation 30GB iPod Video owners, who wish to add a Bluetooth connectivity to their players, can easily do so with ipodhackers step-by step tutorial. First thing you have to do is to disassemble the device, then integrate a Bluetooth module into it, remove the hard disk and replace it with a Compact Flash card. The last is needed since the 30GB model is tight to house both the Bluetooth module and the original hard drive. If you are not tech geeks, don’t try to get into this advemture !

Sony PSP Gets A Wireless Store

Sony wants to turn the games purchase into an easy and approachable experience. The company has officially announced they are developing a wireless store for the PSP consoles, during the GDC conference. The store is expected to be similar to the wireless iTunes, located on iPhone and iPod Touch. Unfortunately, Sony has dropped the availability details, so i guess we all have to wait impatiently for any future announcements.
