Creative wants to extend its audio lineup, introducing the X30, an X-Fi dock, designed for the iPod players. The new device sports a remote control, an S-video or an AV-output to connect your player directly to the tele, an audio output to plug a pair of speakers, and a USB hub. Unfortunately, there are no further details, but one thing is sure, the X30 won’t support any bluetooth or wireless streaming. The dock is set to be released in Europe around April for €79 ($125).

The guys at Shiny Shiny have spotted another new mp3 player at the Samsung Showcase 2008. This time it’s the slim YP-S3, coming up in glowing white, blue, red and green hues, somewhere around June. The new YP-S3 features touch sensitive buttons, 2GB / 4GB or 8GB storage size, a 1.8-inch TFT LCD screen (which is a tad scrubby), an FM tuner, MP3 and WMA audio support, 30 hours of battery life and more. No word on price, but this YP-S3 looks exactly like the YP-S5 player, without the speakers. Check the video after the break.
