DS Lite Pokemon Limited Edition Goes Live Stateside
Nintendo DS lite has known some special limited edition versions in the past, but this time fanboys can get a chance to put their hands on a Japanese Pokemon flavor, as a scanty number of devices hit the U.S and appear on GameStop store, decorated with Dialga and Palkia pokemons on the top of the case. The bundle includes a fancy carrying case, along with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DVD, a poster of Grovyle and a Pokemon t-shirt. As for the price, i guess it’s much better to get this groovy package for the same $129.99.

Nail USB Memory Stick Introduced
If you’re a carpenter or a DIY aficionados, this is your day, as Dutch company Plankton has announced the release of the “nailed”, a USB nail designed flash drive, coming up with 2GB storage capacity and a polyurethane/iron body, that gives the memory stick a look of a nine inch nail, jammed into a PC/Mac computer. To start hammering with this unique USB nail stick, without causing any substantial damages, you will have to take €29.50 ($46) out of your purse. The damages are on your expense.

iPod Gets a Limited Edition Simpsons Version
I guess that should have happened long time ago but it’s better late than never, as The Simpsons arrive to the iPod in a few different styles that are engraved onto different iPod devices, including iPod Classic 80/160GB ($329 and $439), Nano 4/8GB ($219 and $269), Shuffle 1/2GB ($89 and $109), and iPod Touch 8/16/32GB ($389, $499 and $599). Naturally, they cost a little more but you will be able to add your name or other caption at your choice. Mind you, there are only 2000 pieces of each, so if you consider yourself a real Homer junky, you should hurry up.

Star Wars Legends R2D2 and Darth Vader Become a USB HUB on your desktop
R2-D2 and Darth Vader are well known Sci-Fi Star Wars characters and from now on they officially been transformed into USB hub figures, thanks to Japanese company Cube-Works, who’ve managed to shift them from spaceship robots into your desktop companion, equipped with 4 full-speed USB ports on their front, for easy connection to your PC. In addition, you will be glad to hear that R2-D2’s head moves and lights up every 3 minutes, as Vader’s eyeballs glow with the appropriated sound effects. Xbox 360 Portable Concept Introduced
I’m sure Microsoft is planning a portable Xbox 360 device; after all, if Sony can develop one, Redmond can do it as well. Meanwhile, until it happens, we have a chance to look at an interesting portable concept that was emerged on T3 magazine, opening our appetite and our gaming imagination. This handheld concept features an all-in-one device, including a Microsoft Zune, XBox 360 and a mobile phone, packed in a sexy slim and sleek case, with gaming buttons on the right side and directions pad to the left. Honestly, I will be stoked having only an Xbox 360 portable device without the phone or the Zune included, so if people from Microsoft are listening, we do yearn for one of those.

Dell Mini Inspiron Showed Up In The Wild
After the Asus Eee PC, MSI Wind and the HP 2133, there’s a new kid on the mini-laptop block, as Michael Dell has snappily revealed the new Dell Mini Inspiron at the All Things Digital conference. This sub-$500 lappy presumably features an 8.9-inch screen, a card reader, three USB ports, Ethernet connection, a VGA output, a built-in webcam and many more. We can’t be sure if it is equipped with an Atom-based processor but the Mini Inspiron is expected to run either Windows XP Home or Ubuntu Linux OS. Stay tuned for more details to be revealed next week at the Computex show.

Xbox 360 Gets a Glowing Green Case
I must admit, i’m not a modding aficionados, but this new glowing green Xbox 360 neon case from XCM looks great, specially with the semi-translucent look that provides inner glance at the console itself. There’s no word on price but it should be available soon, so if you’re looking for a unique design for your gaming box, this might be a nice solution.

Sony PSP Gets a Metallic Blue Flavor
More new colors keep wrapping the PSP console, as Sony announces the release of the new stunning metallic blue PSP, coming up bundled with a Madden NFL 09 package, on August 12th. Additionally, the box will include a 1GB Memory Stick, a voucher to download the game Beats, free of charge, and the “NFL: In Just One Play” video on UMD, all in all for the same old $200 price tag. Personally, I like the blue so i’m a little biased, but it seems the bundles trend is doing good for Sony.

Asus Eee PC 901 Gets a Granit Black Flavor
Only short time after we were glancing at the new Eee PC 901 model, equipped with an Intel Atom processor and about to be released on June 3rd, we get a chance to look at some new pictures, indicating a nice Granit Black hue version, to be available along with the white one. Is This The New iPhone 3G?
I can’t be sure those images are real, but they sure look great, presenting the “so called” iphone 2. As you can see, the “new” 3G models come in 3 flavors, including white, black and reddish, something we’ve heard before. In addition, you can find the front built-in video cam, together with the rear one, implying for video conference capabilities. The only drawback is the “slim” slogan, which stands in contradiction to the latest rumors, pointing on a thicker device, due to GPS chipset add on. I guess I’ll have to wait couple more weeks to get an answer. Check the other images after the break.

Asus Eee PC 901 Gets a New Design And an Intel Atom Processor
As planned, Asus preps to release its own Atom-based Eee PC version and we get a chance to glance at the Eee 901, coming up in June, a month after the Eee 900 was launched in the US and days after the MSI Wind has emerged with the Atom processor. As you can see, it looks a tad different from the first models with the metal sides on the screen hinge, Asus logo is vanished, metal framing around the trackpad and some other buttons and outputs rearrangements.
Update: June 3rd is the date of release and the price is expected to be around $650 for the XP version.

King Deco Turns The DS Lite Into a Styling Nightmare
First time I’ve encountered with this picture, i thought it’s an old fashioned purse, designed for super-chic grannies. Turns out i was totally wrong, It is a Nintendo DS Lite, turned into a crappy piece of coated spangling pearls, courtesy of King Deco. I mean, seriously, what were they thinking, is there anyone in this planet that consider buying this thing? I guess not, unless you’re a DS collector.

Samsung T10 Player Gets a Limited Edition Flowery Design
Samsung introduces a new limited edition Flower design for its YP-T10 players, to be released in the following weeks. The new ‘La Fleur’ design is a blend of purple and black, made of strong aluminum and includes some matching floral wallpapers, to be presented as part of the UI. Wiimote Cufflinks Designed For Gamers In Suits
I’m not so sure there are gamers in suits, but in any case they do decide to wear one, the new Wiimote cufflinks, made of sterling silver, can be a nice accessory to complete the look, as the front is a Wiimote and the back is a Nunchuk. Mind you, those cuffs don’t come cheap, and a pair of them will cost you $150, but it shouldn’t deter Wii fans from getting a chance to own something so unique.

Creative Zen Gets New Pinkish And Reddish Colors
Creative has decided to broaden its Zen lineup by adding new sporty colors, including pink and red. There’s no special cause behind it, just a stylish move to offer the player to customers with different flavor. Beyond that, everything else pretty much stays identical to the previous models, including the 2.5-inch TFT display (320 x 240), storage capacity - ranged from 2GB up to 32GB, SD/SDHC slot, FM radio and more.
