Yes, you hear it right, the Mac Air can be laser etched with your own personal design. Not sure how many would like to revamp their expensive lappy, but you should know it is possible, as demonstrated by laser master, Phil Torrone, with 1/4 “jacks” underneath the front of the Macbook air to make it level. Looks neat.

Recently, we have spotted some new Nintendo DS colors, hitting the market, but this one has stricken us with its modish elegant matte black exterior and shellac white interior. This rare DS Lite version is a result of an alliance between the highly esteemed designer, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and Japanese fashion magazine, Honeybee. Unfortunately, it is very very limited and located in Japan only, so you can pray to have one but the odds are really faint.

If color was your reason not to purchase a new flat MacBook Air, then your excuses are over, thanks to the creative people in colorware. The company customizes a wide range of laptops, based on clients demand, giving them vivid flavors and artifacts appearance. You can choose your style out of 35 aluminum colors and create your favorite design by adding your own logo. The only problem is the price that stands on 500$ for base system color and 50$ per add-on, which makes your MacBook Air adventure very expensive.

We all know the mighty and powerful computers from Alienware, featuring galactic designs and housing muscular hardware. The same shape was inspiring Dell and Alienware to create this alien phone concept, running Android OS under an impressive module with blue glowing grill and sliding mechanism. In the light of recent impacts, the Alienware handset concept has a sensitive touch keypad and joystick, for easy navigation. I wonder if this phone will be able to connect carriers in other galaxies.

I was always intrigued by the idea of receiving daily/weekly deals directly to my mobile when i go shopping. This Ikea Mobile Kiosk was discovered in one of the stores in Seattle, allowing you to sync your mobile phone through text messages or by scanning barcodes. The synced info includes coupons and other breaking news on weekly sales and special discount offers. I don’t think this technology can replace Ikea’s catalog, but it is an adequate way to update consumers.

If you really want to save place when you travel , this new mouse concept might be a good solution. The Jellyclick is an inflatable mouse, so you can pull it out of the bag, blow some air inside and start clicking. Once you’ve finished using it, just empty the air, roll it up and put it back in your pocket or elsewhere. Not a bad idea !
