iRiver Announces The Release Of The New T7 Volcano DAP

For those of you who prefer a nice small DAP for jogging, without the video or internet elements, iRiver introduces the new T7 Volcano MP3 player, coming up in Black, Pink, Blue, White or Chocolate flavors, with a price ranged between $54 for the 2GB version up to $77 for the 4GB capacities. This small colorful player features a 4 lines OLED display, a USB 2.0 port, 7 EQ, and an FM tuner to listen to your favorite stations. In addition it supports basic formats like MP3, WMA, ASF and Ogg, as dimensions stand on 84 × 26 x 11mm for 26.3 g, so if you think it is the right player for your needs, you can get one in Asia or Europe right now (hopefully to be available in the US soon).

iRiver To Introduce The New Domino Flash Drives

iRiver has announced the release of its new Domino USB flash drive series, coming up in 6 flavors, including white, silver, chocolate, black, pink or coral pink. The new flash drives offer 2GB or 4GB storage capacities with Sandisk-alike sliding USB connector and Windows Vista compatibility. Release date isn’t clear but those 2 gram flash drives will cost you $21 or $34 respectively.

iRiver Spinn Goes Live In The UK Around August

First time I’ve encountered with the iRiver Spinn was back in January at the CES show in Vegas. Now it seems the player goes live in the UK around mid-August, coming up in 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB capacities and some cool features, including a 3.3-inch AMOLED display (480 x 272), a 3D graphics chip, DMB TV, FM radio tuner, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD slot, a microphone, flash support and many more. Still, no word on price or US release date but you have to admit it looks great.

Update: September 29th – The Spinn is up for pre-sale, priced at 4GB ($249.99) and 8GB ($289.99). Shipping is scheduled to October 3rd.

iRiver P10 PMP Goes Live

iRiver was one of the stars, at the CES show, back in January. Now the company officially releases its P10 PMP, coming with a 4-inch 16M colors touchscreen (800 x 480) and 33GB storage capacity. In addition, the new sleeky whitish player features a built-in microphone, 10EQ, a dictionary, TV output, external speaker and DMB-TV tuner. It supports WMV, MPG, AVI, XVID with 720×480 HD support, MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, WAV, APE, JPEG, BMP or Microsoft Office documents and runs Windows CE 5.0. The new P10 is equipped with a 600MHZ RMI AU250 processor, sized at 108 x 73.5 x 19.2 mm 205g and available in black or white.

Update: Price ranged from $318 up to $385.

iRiver NV Life Goes Live

Reincomm has announced the release of the iriver NV Life, a new personal navigation device running WinCE 5.0 and sports multimedia capabilites. This 7-inch (800 x 480) Nav-PMP gadget features a SiRF Star III GPS system, an FM  transmitter, DMB TV (with PiP function), and SD slot to load maps into the unit. Focused on the “simple and easy” concept, the NV Life supports wide range of media codecs and available in 2GB ($367) or 4GB ($400) storage capacities. It has metal-sleeky design and endures buttons on the left side, for your convenience.

Video: iriver W7 Media Player In Action

The guys at anythingbutipod.com have managed to put their hands on the iriver W7 media player, that was first introduced at the CES show in Vegas, last December. To recall, the W7 has a 3″ touch screen with 260,000 colors (480 X 272) , providing 4GB/8GB storage capacity and mini SD slot. The player supports MP3, WMA audio files, WMV9 SP, MPEG-4 SP, H.264 video formats, JPEG, TXT/CSD e-books reader and more. Other features include FM radio tuner, sound recording and flash games support. It is a solid player with great features, but mostly designed for stylus interface junkies. iRiver Unveils The New E100 Chocolate DAP

The guys at Akihabara News have managed to put their hands on the iRiver E100 Chocolate. The new player features a 2.4-inch screen, microSD slot, a built-in stereo speaker, FM tuner and 2GB to 8GB storage size. It is compatible with audio formats as MP3, WMA, OGG, ASF, FLAC, video formats like MPEG4, WMV9, XVID and image formats, including JPEG, BMP, PNG, and GIF. The E100 comes in white, black, pink, light blue and the chocolate brown, and weights 59.3gm. No word on price or availability.

Mpio Introduces The New MG200 MP3 Player

Mpio unveils the new MG200 mp3 player with a 1.5-inch OLED display and a Black or White sleek design. The MG200 is compatible with almost any current available format and might be a cheaper solution, as its price stands on less than $100. The player comes with 3 different Nand Flash storage sizes (1GB/2GB/4GB) and sports multi-language support.

iRiver Siren DP150 Announced

Yet, another player from iRiver, the Siren DP150. This DP100 successor, weights only 24gm and comes with 1GB ($65) or 2GB  ($84) storage size. The player is equipped with an OLED display, a built-in microphone, FM tuner and supports MP3, WMA, WAV audio formats. Battery life should run around 17 hours.

iRiver Mickey Mouse Player Gets Interlaced With Swarovski Stones

One last iRiver for today, hope you’re not tired, are you? Since iRiver isn’t winding down. This time, it’s a small adorned upgrade to its Mickey Mouse MP3 player. The new tiny 1GB mousy was plated with the precious Swarovski stones and turned into an original shiny musical medallion – Kitchy !!

CES 2008: iRiver Unit II Was Saved For Dessert

iRiver was a major showing player at the CES this year. Just before recapping, the company introduced a new media center prototype, the iRiver Unit II. This model is a futuristic combination of audio, video, TV tuner, FM tuner, internet WiFi, SD expansion and a 7″ portable control display, loaded with some cool widgets. The Unit II is packed with some advanced features, such as mini handy keyboard, speaker dock, VOIP connectivity and various connections, including component, RCA, RGB, optical, HDMI and more. The device is expected to be released in 2009 for 700$. check out the video:

CES 2008: iRiver M20 GPS-PMP Unveiled

iRiver is pumping us with new products every day, at the CES show. This time, it is the M20, a media player, combined with a GPS navigation system. The M20 turns to be an update version of the iRiver NV device, with a 7″ LCD touchscreen,  DMB TV, FM radio tuner, video and audio capabilities. Other details are still vague.

CES 2008: iRiver LPlayer Run Of A Mill

iRiver unveiled another player, this time it’s the LPlayer. The new device is equipped with 2″ TFT LCD screen and features video/music player, FM radio tuner, photo viewer, text reader 2/4/8GB storage and d-click interface. This player supports the new mysterious Spinn technology.

Another iRiver player unveiled at the CES show, the iRiver Spinn. This beautiful glowing PMP has a 3.3″ AMOLED display (480 x 272), DMB TV, FM radio tuner, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD slot, microphone, 4/8/16GB storage and more. Like the P20, this player supports the new iRiver Spinn technology, probably to scroll menus with a “warm analog controls”, but we are not sure about the meaning of this slogan.

CES 2008: iRiver Wing UMPC

Is the new iRiver Wing UMPC reminding you something? Well…If you thought about the Asus Eee PC, you guessed right. As we mentioned, the huge impression (and sales) of the Eee ultra mini PC, made other companies reconsider their line of products. The iRiver WING is a WiFi enabled portable device with a 4″ touchscreen and 4GB of flash storage. It runs Windows CE Pro and equipped with a full QUERTY keyboard. Other features include web browsing, emails, FM radio, VOIP support and SD expansion.

CES 2008: iRiver P20 PMP

It seems like a very active year for iRiver. The company generates many of the news, coming out from the CES show direction. Their recent PMP announcement is the P20, a 4.1″ AMOLED screen with 16M colors. Other features include Bluetooth 2.0, FM tuner, DMB tuner, microphone, TV output, SD card slot USB host and 120/160GB of storage. The new gimmick in the P20 is the Spinn. It is an analog toggle wheel that uses the Spinn every turn, with the new interface.

CES 2008: iRiver Homme Music Player

Not much of information was released on this mini DAP, and It seems iRiver has an interest to keep details obscured, but one thing is certain, it is very thin and looks like a lighter. The iRiver Homme is equipped with a small display (under the cover), and two functional buttons on the top.

Iriver W7 Gets a GPS Navigation Kit

Iriver revealed a new exciting car kit for its W7 media player. The package contains a GPS base unit, cigarette lighter connector, mini SD adapter and 2GB mini SD card with variety of maps inside. To transform the player into a GPS navigation unit, you need to attach the GPS base to the back of the player – and Voila ! you got yourself a cool GPS device to take on the go.
