It was back at the CeBIT show when we first spotted the Meizu M8 UI, but ever since, there were more speculations than a real product. Today, we finally get a chance to look at what appears to be a tangible video of the new Meizu M8 interface, presented by Mr. Jack Wong himself, introducing a smooth iphone-alike surface, with a flowing touchscreen and some new icons, different from the first imitating ones. Still, no word on when or where this long-time saga is about to end, if at all, but we do keep following. Meanwhile, checkout the new video.

So many rumors are floating around the Meizu M8 cellular-player concerning launching date, interface design, iPhone cloning issues and more. One of the latest rumbling refers to the following pictures, presenting the presumably GUI of the M8 device. Although we have no resource to verify the authenticity, it sure looks different from previous publications and distinguishes the Meizu from the iPhone. Stay tuned for the next scuttlebutt, in days to come.

After months of speculations, we finally can take a glimpse on the new Meizu M8 mini One. Although it is just an early prototype without any functional features, except the home screen, dialer and media player, we’re able to get a first impression and learn what to expect for. Suspiciously, The M8 looks similar to the iPhone, both from the outside and the inside GUI, it has a TV-output, 3 buttons downside and a touchscreen (not a multi-touch like the iphone’s). The final device will feature a Windows CE 6.0 OS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 3.4″ display (720 x 480), 3MP camera and many more. Meizu says the final hardware is complete and ready to be launched in China, somewhere around August.

We hear that Meizu might present its new M8 player on the next CES show in Vegas on January 2008. The player is, literally, an iPhone clone prototype, with aplenty of similar outside and inside interface look. The M8 has a 3 inch 16M TFT touchscreen and a 3 mega pixel camera. In addition, it will include WiFi, Bluetooth, TV Out, USB, USB OTG, GPS and more. A wide range of audio and video formats will be supported.
Meizu M8 is expected to be available on February 08, in Asia. We wonder when will it be available in the US, since Apple’s attorneys are not planning to let this iPhone clone to be launched without an injunction.
