It looks like Chinese corporation Onda is trying to flood the market with HD players, supporting 720P video quality. Otherwise, it would be hard to explain why on earth the company has just released the VX555HD, only 3 months after the VX535HD has made its first appearance in public. HD compatibility aside, the new PMP packs a 3-inch display, an FM tuner, TV output and wide range of codecs support. Other than that, the people in Onda  promise a low and competitive price tag that will match global recession atmosphere, and while availability is obscure you’ll have to stay tuned to learn more.

Onda makes a major step towards high-definition integration, as the Chinese company has unveiled their latest VX535HD PMP, which includes the new CC1600 ‘HD’ chip that allows playing quality 720P videos on the efficient 4.3-inch 800×480 display. Unfortunately, the media player is lack of wireless connectivity, but instead you get everything you need to handle your multimedia stuff. Chinese company Onda, announces the release of the VX626 PMP, to be available in early December with a 2.8-inch screen, Rockchips RK2706 processor and the usual features, including an FM tuner, e-book reader,  and even high-resolution video support. Still, no info concerning the price, but those who buy this one, will enjoy a built-in CMMB receiver, which means, a portable TV inside.

New year is a sign for new products. Onda revealed a new VX747 PMP, equipped with a true wide 3″ touchscreen. The player, made of black aluminum alloy shell and metal frame, features a 400MHZ processor that can play music, videos, radio and browse pictures and e-books.
