LIC-iREC01 Provides a Stereo Mic To Your iPod
For those of you who look for a microphone solution for their iPod players, Logitec Japan (not Logitech) would like to offer the LIC-iREC01. This small add-on jams into the iPod’s dock connector, providing a mini-USB port to sync your player or charge it, an audio-input to connect other audio sources, and a built-in stereo mic for voice recording or a future VOIP application. While there are many other solutions in the market, this latest from Logitec, is said to work with all generations of iPods, so if you happen to visit Japan within the following months, you can grab yours for an undisclosable price.

Onkyo Introduces New HD Audio PC
Onkyo unveils new PC lineup, designed as Hi-Fi stereo systems. The new APX-2 HD PC sports an advanced digital audio amplifier and Pure Direct Audio Path, allowing you to play high-quality HD Audio tunes, without any audio lost, caused by vista filtering drivers. Other features include:

BlackBerry Gets A Remote Stereo Gateway
RIM has just released a wireless stereo transmitter, for music home streaming, from your BlackBerry device. To do so, connect your phone, via Bluetooth, to the base and connect your speakers into the 3.5mm jack, to start streaming stereo music with the A2DP configuration. The unit is available for $80 and it seems the remote gateway can stream music to other Bluetooth devices like headphones or mini-stereo systems with Bluetooth support. I wonder if RIM is trying to get a foothold in the multimedia and home entertainment categories, lets wait and see.
