Sony Announces A New Speedy USB Memory Stick Series
Sony to release a new USMGLX USB memory stick series with 31MB/sec high-speed reading capabilities. The new lineup includes 5 sticks, ranged from 1GB, 2GB, 4Gb, 8GB to 16GB. The series supports both Mac/PC and is a Windows Vista Ready-Boost technology compatible. Available in Japan from March for $210 (16GB model).

Archos 405 Gets 30GB Storage
Archos released an upgraded version for the 405 PMPs. The new model features 30GB hard drive storage instead of the previous flash memory, 3.5” TFT screen 16M colors, a microphone, ext. speaker, TV output and more. Archos removed the previous SD / SDHC slot configuration and fixed the price on 290$ (€199). The new 405 is expected to be available immediately in Europe.

iPhone 16GB & iPod Touch 32GB Officialy Released
Super Tuesday is a big US political celebration but also Apple’s announcements day. As we speak, the Cupertino company unveiled the rumored 16GB iPhone for retail price of 499$ and the surprising 32GB iPod Touch for the same price of 499$. Both devices are available immediately worldwide and no other changes were reported. I guess we should be wondering if a 32GB iPhone is coming out this year.

IOTEK ezSECU Features 2.5″ HDD Case With Secured Touch Panel
Korean company, IOTEK, introduced the ezSECU, a 2.5-inch HDD case, equipped with a secured, code input touch panel, blocking your way to access any stored data. In order to penetrate inside you need to feed in a preset PIN number, contains up to 12 digits, otherwise, you are banned. The case features one-touch locking element and compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS 9.2.

Western Digital Introduces 320GB My Passport Essential Drive
Western Digital officially released the 320GB My Passport Essential portable drive. The new storage device features a small and pocketable polished design with shiny black gloss color, powered USB bus connection (No separate power needed), 128-bit encryption, easy sync usage and Google software. Price is set for merely $200.
Update: Also available in 160GB and 250GB storage size.

Archos TV+ Has DVR And WiFi Support
Archos released the Archos TV+, a stationary version of its Archos 605 portable media player. The TV+ is the first WiFi Digital Video Recorder that comes in 80GB or 250GB storage capacities. With the Archos TV+ you can schedule, record and stream content whenever you want, threw your WiFi network. You can watch your favorite stored movies, listen to your music and flip between your last vacation photos, in a simple push of a button, from the living room couch. The device comes with a cool QWERTY remote, for a full control of the UI and the web surfing (thanks to the touch pad). It supports a video on-demand service, so you can order your favorite movies from CinemaNow, or watch any video threw one of the video web services such as YouTube, DailyMotion and others. The TV+ has a USB 2.0 host, for an easy and direct access to your digital camera photos or your portable media player movies. In addition, it has an HDMI output, so you can plug it to your advanced LCD TV and watch high resolution movies. You can get one for $229 (80GB) or $349 (250GB).

Macworld 2008: Apple Unveiles The Time Capsule Backup Server
This wireless drive will backup all your Leopard OSX Time Machine Macs threw your wireless network. The Time Capsule features a full Airport Extreme base station with 802.11n wireless and a server grade hard drives, allowing you to backup your data from anywhere, in your wireless network area. You will be able to choose two storage capacities, 500GB for $300 and 1TB for $500. The product should be available next month.

Buffalo revealed a new USB flash drive with a mammoth 32GB of storage. According to Buffalo, the new SHD-U32GS USB 2.0 flash drive is 20% faster than any other similar drives, thanks to its Turbo USB technology. Price should be around 300$.
